Our 9.5 oz candles burn for 40 hours or more and the 5 oz jar for 20 or more, depending on the scent and how you care for it. The figure is on each product page. Trimming the wick to a quarter inch before each burn helps you get the most out of it.
All of our fragrances are phthalate-free and formulated with pet safety in mind. However, we recommend keeping lit candles away from pets and in a well-ventilated space. If you have a particularly sensitive pet (especially birds or cats), consult your vet.
Our candles are poured in coconut apricot wax, and the wax melts in coconut tart. Both are natural blends that burn cleanly and hold fragrance well, and both are free from paraffin. The wax is listed on every product page and on the label.
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before every burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the vessel. This prevents tunneling. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and keep your candle away from drafts. Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains.
Yes, and it is free for anyone. You do not need to live in Orange City to choose it, but you do need to come here to collect. Pick local pickup in your cart and Sabrina will reply to arrange a day and a place that suits you both. It saves you the postage, and nothing handed over in person can arrive broken in the mail.
Currently we only ship within the United States. International shipping is something we're working toward. Sign up for our newsletter to hear when it's available.
Email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we will send a replacement or refund you in full, at no cost. You do not need to send the damaged one back. Glass in the mail is the risk we take, not you.
Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days once your order is paid for. Expedited is 1–2. Orders go out Monday–Friday, within two business days of payment.
Yes. We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unused, unlit candles in their original packaging. Custom candles are non-refundable. To start a return, email us at cocoandsabanna@gmail.com with the name on your order and roughly when you ordered.
Click "Custom Orders" in the menu and fill out our wizard. We'll ask about scent, color, vessel, quantity, and your event details. We typically need at least 14 days of lead time for custom orders.
Our custom orders start at 1 candle, with no maximum. For bulk wedding or corporate orders (20+), we recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks in advance.
Yes. In the custom order wizard you can add a name, date, or short message (up to 60 characters) that we'll print on the label. You can also upload a reference image for design inspiration.
