What we collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone, and shipping ZIP when you submit a custom candle request or contact form. We also collect your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personally identifiable information — no cookie banner required.

How we use your information

• To respond to your messages and process custom orders
• To send order confirmations and invoices via Shopify
• To send newsletter emails if you opted in (you can unsubscribe any time)

How we store your data

Custom request data is stored in a secure database on Render.com servers. Contact form submissions are stored and forwarded to our email via Resend. Reference images are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

Shopify

Purchases are processed through Shopify. Shopify is PCI Level 1 certified. We never see or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Shopify and PayPal.

Local storage

Our custom candle wizard saves your selections (scent, color, vessel, etc.) to your browser's local storage so your progress isn't lost if you close the tab. This data is automatically cleared when you submit your request or after 30 days. We do not store your name, email, or ZIP code in local storage.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@emberandwick.co. We will remove your data within 30 days.
